Making Movies release first concert film and live album, En La Sala
Los Angeles, CA (January 5, 2024) – Psychedelic Panamanian band Making Movies are kicking off the new year with the release of their first concert film and live album titled En La Sala. The album features live performances recorded on January 27, 2023, at the historic Folly Theater in Kansas City. Making Movies invited a small group of friends and family to join them on stage and be part of the intimate recording.

The William J. Stribling directed video will be featured at the Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles this Friday, June 10 at 5pm. The fictional film conveys an overly-confident version of the band as they travel by private plane while on tour, when suddenly they’re cosmically punished for their hubris as the airplane goes down and crashes in the desert.
