Please take a moment to explore our 2024 ROSTER

Yonas Media is proud to now represent five Grammy-nominated artists. Recently joining our diverse family are the acclaimed two-time Grammy winners, Los Texmaniacs, soul/funk icons The Bar-Kays, all female roots group Magnolias, and Colombian folk ensemble Bulla en el Barrio.

Progressive Bluegrass and Grammy nominees Kittel & Co., led by violinist Jeremy Kittel, are "thrillingly spontaneous... taking traditional music forward" according to the Times UK. Latin Grammy-nominated Making Movies continue to push the boundaries of American music with a sound Rolling Stone describes as “an eclectic blend of rumbero percussions, delicate organs, and grungy fuzz rock.” Making Movies presents AMERI’KANA All-Stars – a supergroup that blends the folkloric with the cutting edge and features a rotating cast of leaders in their respective genres.  Memphis-based gospel/soul group The Sensational Barnes Brothers had a breakthrough year in 2023 captivating audiences at festivals like Rocky Mountain Folks, Sisters, and Freshgrass. Their momentum continues with prestigious bookings at Telluride Bluegrass and Merlefest in 2024. Marcella Simien, daughter of two-time Grammy award-winning Zydeco luminary Terrance Simien, is wielding the torch of a veritable creole dynasty blending elements of Zydeco, Soul, and Blues. Marcella has partnered with long time friend and collaborator Anne Harris to form an all female group MagnoliasBulla en el Barrio, led by Combo Chimbita founders, brings the essence of traditional Bullerengue music, transporting audiences to the heart of Colombian folk culture. Grammy award-winning Los Texmaniacs are the past, present, and future of Conjunto music featuring Max Baca on the bajo sexto and his nephew Josh Baca, who is fast attaining legendary status on the accordion. In 2024 The Bar-Kays celebrated their remarkable 60-year journey, recognized as the "founding fathers of funk" by Soul magazine. Grammy-nominated Afro-Latino duo Los Rakas (the first Urbana group to play Coachella) and Grammy winner jazz/cabaret/soul/comedian Rizo round out the roster.
